The Bonaventure Quartet is an Atlanta based jazz band combining Gypsy Jazz, American swing, humor, and original music into a style that is romantically thrilling.

The repertoire is diverse, with the music drawing on Latin feels, hot swing, ballads, and waltzes. The lyrics of the songs tell stories about unusual characters, places and situations. ‘The Man with the Amazing Hair, (a true story about a remarkable pompadour), ‘The Clermont Lounge’ (a song about the dancers in Atlanta’s iconic nightclub), ‘‘Tequila up my Skirt!’ ( the lament of a girl in Brazil during Carnival), or any one of another 30 original songs the group plays.

Since the images in the songs are so vivid, the performance creates an experience akin to dinner theater, in which the characters from each song are somehow connected to each other.
